It’s Secret Santa time!

Washington-Morgan Community Action is starting the Secret Santa season! Preparations have already begun, and Washington-Morgan Community Action is seeking donations and sponsors to help make the holidays special for underprivileged children of the Secret Santa Program. Sponsors are provided with a wish list so they can shop for that particular child. With cash donations, the Secret Santa program can buy gifts for unsponsored children. Unspecified toys can also be donated to unsponsored children.

The agency will be taking applications, for the program Monday through Friday starting October 15 and continuing through November 9. Applications can be completed at 218 Putnam Street.

All applicants must provide 30 day proof of income, proof of Washington County residency, photo ID, and birth certificates of children along with Social Security cards for children and adults. To qualify, the family income must be at 150% of the Federal Poverty Level or below. The Secret Santa Program serves ages newborn to 12. Applicants must be residents of Washington County and not applying for other gift giving programs.

If you would like to sponsor a child, make a toy or cash donation, or have further questions about the program call 373-3745.
