Secret Santa Applications

On Monday, October 15, 2001 Washington-Morgan Community Action will begin accepting applications for the 2001 Secret Santa program offering disadvataged families the opportunity to experience the joy of watching their children on Christmas morning when they realize Santa has slid down teir chimney.

In cooperation with the Washington County Commissioners, Washington-Morgan Community Action will celebrate its 6th anniversary of coordinating the Secret Santa program. Staff begins collecting names and wish lists early to ensure that less fortunate childrean will have gifts under the tree on Christmas morning.

Secret Santa is a community project that matches families in need of Christmas gifts with generous residents and businesses throughout the county that are willing to share their extra Chriatmas spirit through donation and sponsorship.

Washington County residents interested in applying for the 2001 Secret Santa program can pick up applications at Washington-Morgan Community Action located on 218 Putnam Street Monay thru Friday 9:00am- 11:30 am and 1:00pm - 3:30pm. Applications will be accepted through November15, 2001. Applicants not currently enrolled in Community Action programs must provide proof of income and social security numbers for each child under the age of 15. Applicants must be a resident of Wasdhington County and not applying for other gift programs.
